 REPUBLIC DAY CELEBERATION🎆(Week 5@ GHSS Kanyakulangara)👍 While teaching your subject you will also have to expect anything and be prepared to take any class. For me, I had to take another teacher trainees class occasionally and for that,PPT I had to make PPt's ready beforehand. It was a good method to teach students with PPT's so I had to carry my laptop everywhere I went because the school still had no proper functioning of its ICT's. This is yet another part of developing flexibilty and adapting to change. Also by this time I had introduced myself to all other teachers and staff of the school as well as other college teacher trainees.      Our principal came for observation this week. It was unexpected and most of us had already finished teaching for the day. Everyone was on their toes while he made his rounds.      Week 4 @ GHSS Kanyakulangara🚌 Can you speak in English? Are you confident with your words and phrases? This week had an excellent programme organized by the school for its students. It was the inauguration of the English club for encouraging language competence among young children. As part of the programme we got to see children showcasing their talents in English such as role-plays, songs, dances, and drama.  This week we had to finish 4 lesson plans and students were very cooperative. I was also tasked with giving audios on chapters on whatsapp for easy understanding. Now I was able to keep time management and could finish a lesson plan within the 45-minute duration. Teachers are pushing us to finish the chapters so that they can give additional supplements through online. We are all waiting for switching to online classes since our HM had gone under covid restrictions. Lots of other student teachers have already got their teachers to visit their classes and...

    Teaching Practice @GGHSS Kanyakulangara✌ Week 3 @ GHSS Kanyakulangara     " When the teacher is ready, a student will appear".     Each day we had to sign our attendance in the morning and evening. And the HM always noted my arrival. But there was a genuine reason for the lateness, which was the lesson plan. It was a tiresome task to keep doing both teaching and finishing the lesson plans. Because of the covid regulations, we had to repeat the lessons twice since the class only had half of the strength it usually had.  I observed 2 classes of different subject teachers trainees and gave a peer evaluation report as well. Each class had something common and similar to my class, that is, mass answering. I also had the opportunity to handle other's classes. It gave me enough confidence and made me a little proud that I am able to handle the classes. This week we also started giving our mid-day meal service as well. 

  Teaching Practice @GGHSS Kanyakulangara Week 1 @ GHSS Kanyakulangara This weekend we had a fruitful experience with the students. There was a rush to finish the portions and also the need to complete our lesson plans. Everyone was busy in their own way. We also communicated with other college trainees. Each and every student teacher had different opinions about the classes. The first weekend we had to rush between the school and the college to get the record corrected by the principal Dr. Benedict sir. Not only that it was difficult to get his signature since he found many faults with our teaching aids and lesson plans. The school began at 9:30 and the first bell for class rang at 10 am. My first hour was with 9 C1 class students. We had a good interactive session. I was able to employ my teaching aids such as charts and images to make the topic clear and comprehensible for them.   25-07-2022 T eaching Practice @ St.  Goretti school, Nalanchira It was the start of a new week. I arrived at school by 8;45 am and went for morning duty. After that by 9:05 am we assembled in the HM's room and listened to the prayer. After getting instructions about the sports day, we all left for our classes. Today I began the chapter ' Song of the Dream' by Sarojini Naidu. Students were very active and responded appropriately.  The rest of the day was spent in record writing and then we left for our college to get the LP signed by Meekha ma'am. We also shared our experiences with our teacher. She is our biggest support and gave us tips to handle all kinds of diificult classes. Its lucky that we don't get to teach 8A or 9A students which only has boys.  The day was very productive and ended on a happy note.

  Community Living Camp - Euphoria ⌛ First day- 14/03/2022      The first day began at 9:30 am. The camp event began with a prayer song by Parvathy Thampi. After the prayer, Megha and Megha S N gave a beautiful pooja dance. Ancy ma'am was the coordinator of the camp and she welcomed us to the camp-Euphoria(2020-2022). This was followed by a welcome speech by Benedict sir and then the chairman of the 65th Union gave the keynote address. Shri Sunil Kumar, Assistant Professor, M G College formally inaugurated the function.  Shri Prem Kumar, Vice President of State Film Academy and actor unveiled the group names through a video. The college bursar Rev. Fr. Thomas Kayyalakal, Dr. Joju John, Union aDVISOR TO 66TH college union gave their blessings and hearty wishes for the camp.
