Week 3 @ GHSS Kanyakulangara

    " When the teacher is ready, a student will appear".

    Each day we had to sign our attendance in the morning and evening. And the HM always noted my arrival. But there was a genuine reason for the lateness, which was the lesson plan. It was a tiresome task to keep doing both teaching and finishing the lesson plans. Because of the covid regulations, we had to repeat the lessons twice since the class only had half of the strength it usually had. I observed 2 classes of different subject teachers trainees and gave a peer evaluation report as well. Each class had something common and similar to my class, that is, mass answering. I also had the opportunity to handle other's classes. It gave me enough confidence and made me a little proud that I am able to handle the classes. This week we also started giving our mid-day meal service as well.

 26-08-2022 Last Day of Teacher Training Internship @     ST Goretti's HSS, Nalanchira The day finally came and I was feeling sad that we had to leave during the exam seasons as it prevented us from saying a proper goodbye to our students and our dear teachers.  Even during these days, students came to us to clear their doubts. Although it was our last day we still attended to our school duties and assisted teachers in their invigilation duties. At 11:15 we assembled at the Hm's office for a short vote of thanks session. I was in charge of the speech and thanked all the staff and students for their love and support. We also presented a thank you gift to the HM and also distributed some sweets. Then we had a photography session with the teachers. I can never forget the experience that I got from St Goretti school.
