A dry May and a leaking June,

Make the farmer whistle a merry tune.

A snowstorm in May

Is worth a wagonload of hay.

Among the changing months,

May stands confessed

The sweetest, and in fairest colors dressed!

3rd May 2021

On 3rd May, first online session was optional hour. Meekha ma'am in her usual cheery self gave us a warm greeting, discussed our plans for distributing prizes for the recent competition that we had conducted and then turned the session to Gayathri for presenting her reading and reflection. Gayathri took the book 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' by Khaled Hosseini.

Khaled Hosseini is one of my personal favourites. He is an Afghan- American novelist, physician, a spokesperson for the Afghan nation, and what more. His works echoes different subdued voices and change our own perceptions about the people living in the Middle-Easts.
Next session was Psychology, which was taken by Gibi ma'am. Varsha and Uthara presented their seminars on the topic Multiple Intelligence proposed by Howard Gardner.

It was an interesting session.
