          Red Alert in several districts of Kerala

It is predicted that heavy rain is likely to continue to fall till May 18th. Even though the state is not in the pathway of the cyclone that formed in the Arabian sea, coastal areas were severely hit and most of the families residing there were evacuated.

On 14th we had two online sessions. Meekha ma'am handled the optional hour. Megha couldn't take her reading and reflection because of poor net connectivity. She was presenting her reflection on the award winning book The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga.


The book got turned into a movie which was released this year. The main roles are played by Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra and Rajkumar Rao. 




Since there was net issues Mahima couldn't join the meet. The class ended with Ma'am giving us instructions about the upcoming competition on Cultural Diversity organized by both English optional and Union members of MTTC.
The next session was Educational technology. Social Science optional students began their seminar presentations. They discussed topics such as computer simulation and its uses, flipped classroom- advantages and disadvantages, M learning and blended learning.

 COGNITIVE MAP  The term “cognitive map” has been used to describe several forms of a diagrammatic representation of an individual’s cognitions. A   concept map  is really nothing more than a diagram or a visual representation of the individual and shared relationships between core concepts and ideas.  concept mapping can be used to help students that are exhibiting real creativity and higher cognitive levels in particular.                This assignment contains a concept map for Plus One and Plus Two students, based on the units , Harmony of Life and Heights of Harmony respectively .
