ONLINE MODE OF LEARNING

Since our college got closed, we found out that our vacation was cut short and got arranged back to our morning online sessions with our teachers at MTTC. On the plus side it was a welcoming experience- seeing our teachers, chatting with them, and meeting our friends. 

Within two online sessions Joju sir finished the left over seminar presentation of Natural Science department. Ancy ma'am introduced us to a new e-learning tool- Google classroom, where we can locate the required study materials. Gibi teacher taught us more on the significance of personality. 



The class was very interactive with students giving their suggestions on different aspects of personality- such as    conflicts, both internal and external, measures to reduce      human frustrations and the importance of achieving success. 


In between we also got to attend our principal's class. Benedict sir completed  microteaching. It was very broad and simple to understand. He took us through each and every aspects of the skills needed. Also he gave us tips to manage classes like keeping a single 5 subject notebook, using coloured markers to highlight important points and also gave us important questions that we can expect for our exams. 



Along with this we also meet for our optional classes where we had resumed our Reading and Reflection seminars. Over the past week we went through the magical realism of Gabriel García Márquez, experienced Toni Morrison, and then from there to John Green, the author of The Fault in Our Stars.

The days are becoming more and more productive.

  Digital Textbook   A  digital textbook  is more interactive and engaging. It is designed keeping the modern tech-savvy learners in mind.To address their learning styles and needs, an e-textbook is usually designed with features that will help them learn better and engage more with the learning material.      A major selling point of digital textbooks is that they offer the opportunity for students to access multimedia content, such as embedded videos, interactive presentations and hyperlinks. Tests and other assessments can be included in the textbook, classmates can work together, and student progress can be tracked.  COGNITIVE MAP  The term “cognitive map” has been used to describe several forms of a diagrammatic representation of an individual’s cognitions. A   concept map  is really nothing more than a diagram or a visual representation of the individual and shared relationships between core concepts and ideas.  concept mapping can be used to help students that are exhibiting real creativity and higher cognitive levels in particular.                This assignment contains a concept map for Plus One and Plus Two students, based on the units , Harmony of Life and Heights of Harmony respectively .
